I love good short workouts for those days that I’m in a rush. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m usually in a rush. This 10 minute total body workout is perfect for those mornings where time is running low but you still want to get some strength in.
This morning this workout really hit the spot for me after my interval run. Yesterday I started a new spin class at my local gym to change things up a bit and get some social interaction into my workouts a little in the mornings. I forgot how much I love spin classes but my legs were definitely feeling it this morning!! (so was my butt from the seat!) So twice a week for the foreseeable future on Tuesday and Thursday’s I’m hitting my local rec center for a spin class!
The winter is a great time to change it up from running all the time since most of us aren’t training for races in the winter. I’m still going to be running 3-4 days a week but am changing out some of my home cardio workouts for the spin class!
10 minute total body
Here is the workout!! I did this this morning and it was a great short workout!! You will need an interval timer to get it done!! There are some great apps out there for you to use. Also, if you are feeling up to it you can do it 3 times through for a 15 minute workout!
The last exercise is a plank with a row, this is sometimes called a renegade row! For the glute bridge with fly I lifted the hips, did a chest fly and then lowered down.
